Gary Petherbridge

President

Gary was a high school teacher in Canberra in the early 60s. After 9 years teaching maths he joined the computer industry and then worked as a business consultant for over 35 years. He has been President of OCN since it began in 2008.


Libby Amiel

Treasurer and Membership Services

Libby is a retired APS officer with experience in policy development and program and legislation administration. Libby has worked for Commonwealth Ministers and Parliamentary Committees and a wide range of Commonwealth departments.


Denton Bocking

Committee Member

Denton is a professional engineer who spent most of his career working for the Department of Defence and defence industry.  He has been Chairperson of two Owners Corporation Executive Committees and has extensive experience in the management of strata-titled properties.


Liz Coghlan

Minutes Secretary

Liz has worked widely in public administration and is active in several community organisations. Liz is an Executive Committee member for a medium size Class B complex and a larger Class A development.


Lily Rimanic

Committee Member

Lily has extensive experience in both the property and construction arenas, as well as Executive Committee experience in a number of residential developments. 


Robin Eckermann

Committee Member

Robin is an acknowledged pioneer of the telecommunications industry.  He led the creation of TransACT and its $250m network rollout a decade before the NBN was conceived, and served on two Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committees.

In recognition of his work in the telecommunications and energy sectors, he was made a Member of the Order of Australian in 2018.

In addition to his role on the OCN Executive, he chairs the Executive Committee for one of Canberra's newest apartment complexes.


Colin Christian

Treasurer

Colin is retired after serving in the APS for 43 years managing all aspects of the hospitality industry.
